The lessons at our surf school in Portugal Algarve
We support you with our expertise in the Honuhele Academy through innovative teaching methods, professional coaches and in small groups. "Safety first" is our top priority! Depending on the situation, your coach will supervise you from our motorboat or on board via direct radio contact in your helmet and will be focused on you at all times.
We teach at our surf school in Portugal Algarve either in the lagoon of Alvor and/or directly at the Praia de Alvor on the open sea. Here we have constant wind and water conditions for all skill levels. Learning to surf in Portugal has never been more idyllic, exciting and easy!

How does Wing Foil learning work with shared equipment?
It's simple: you and your partner take turns every 15 to 20 minutes with the wingfoiling equipment and use the free time to rest and observe yourself. Enjoy this shared experience and the learning process. Just have fun wingfoiling!
Single, that means 1 person with complete material and equipment
Up to 4 people each with complete material and equipment as a group
Up to 2 x 2 persons as small groups, each with 1x material/small group and complete equipment/person
Lessons with shared equipment: You take turns with your partner every 15 to 20 minutes to windsurf and use the time to rest and observe. Enjoy this shared experience and the learning process. Just have fun windsurfing!
The course of the lessons in our surf school in Portugal Algarve
From beginner to wind surfer in just 2 steps
Step 1: Sail handling
After a short theory session covering the basics of wind and water, you will quickly learn how to handle the wing. You will learn how to carry it, steer it, turn it and "catch" the wind.
Step 2: Windsurfing
A short time later, we head into the water equipped with neoprene, life jacket, wing and a large SUP board. This is where you start your first windsurf in Portugal! Now you can refine the handling of the sail on the water and surf for the first time in light winds and smooth water. You'll be surprised at how quickly you progress and how quickly you can windsurf on your own.
Now you are a windsurfer! Congratulations!

1 person / 2 days = 2×2 hours: 220 €

2 person course incl. 2 x material
2 persons / 1 day = 1×3 hours: 160 € per person
2 persons / 2 days = 2×3 hours: 280 € per person

2 person course incl. 1 x material

Your surf school in Portugal Algarve
Here is all the important organizational information about the windsurfing courses for you:
1 lesson session lasts 2-3 hours per day.
We set the lesson time the day before according to the current wind forecast - we will notify you in good time.
It all depends on the wind, so we all have to be pretty flexible.
We ask for your full payment of the course fee before the session in order to guarantee your lessons. The course fee will be refunded if there is no or too much wind.
In order to guarantee you optimum learning success and safety, we do not teach more than 4 students per course.
Rental and test equipment at the surf school in Portugal Algarve
As an advanced rider and pro, you can of course also hire and test equipment from us by booking. We cooperate with various brands and offer you the best set-up for your fun on the water.
