In summer, the water temperature averages between 20 and 22 °C, creating a pleasant environment for all kinds of water activities. The water quality is excellent. The lagoon is known for its clean, clear conditions.
While the lagoon is considered very safe, you should still watch out for sandbanks at low tide and occasional boat traffic.

There are usually no significant waves thanks to the beach’s topography and the effect of the Nortada wind. This makes for smooth water surfaces, perfect for wing foil beginners and pros alike.
The water quality is typically excellent due to strong local environmental efforts. During the summer, lifeguards are on duty to ensure a safe environment. From October 1st to May 31st, mobile rescue teams are available to provide water safety and pre-clinical support.
